(Kentucky) As the annual KHSAA Dead Period quickly approaches, let us let everyone know about the KHSAA annual Dead Period
The KHSAA annual dead period is a period of two weeks to let the athletes of the state of Kentucky enjoy life outside of sports for a two week period.
What this means (There will be none of this allowed below)
- NO PRACTICES
- NO TEAM MEETINGS
- NO 7 ON 7'S
- NO LIFTING
- NO TRYOUTS
- NO FUNDRASING ACTIVITIES
- NO OPEN GYMS
- NO OPEN FIELDS
Athletes will not be allowed on school grounds to deal with anything dealing with sports. Get away from the school and enjoy your summer vacation.
Think about this for you football players your weight room will be there after this two week break.
Go on vacation, go do things that you can't do while sports are going on like fishing or some other activities with your family and friends.
July 10 will be the start of the Fall High School season until then have a wonderful break all you athletes deserve it.
